As you know, fashion month just concluded this week after another whirlwind tour of New York, London, Milan, and Paris. (And don't forget Copenhagen!) While we've done our fair share of trend coverage—see links above—I'm always curious to hear other people's perspectives. Well, specifically Anna Wintour's. In a new video for Vogue's "Go Ask Anna" series, the magazine's editor in chief shed light on her top brands of the season.

Wintour named five of her favorite shows—one from each city, plus Tom Ford who broke from the mold and presented in Los Angeles. "First and foremost, I want to applaud Tom Ford for showing in Los Angeles because I totally reject the idea that everyone always has to do the same thing and show in the same way," Wintour says in the video. "We're in an industry that's meant to be about change, so why don't we change more often?"

Scroll down to shop the five brands Anna Wintour mentions in the video and learn why they made her list.

"Taking his super-glamorous show and his super glamorous audience to Los Angeles, I thought, was genius," Wintour continued. "The show was exciting and vibrant. Every woman there wanted every dress on the runway."

"I loved Marc's closing show at the Armory. He surprised us all by having sort of a cabaret set-up," Wintour says in the video. "The whole space was filled with an army of Karole Armitage dancers and models sort of mixing in with each other. It was a very joyful and intimate and exhilarating experience."

"In London, I really loved Jonathan Anderson's show for his own label," Wintour says in the video. "He threw out a lot of the layers and it was surprisingly wearable. But not in any way boring or mundane. I think he's consistently leading the way in terms of British talent."

"In Milan, we all loved Francesco's collection at Marni because of his belief in sustainability, his extraordinary mix of fabrics, and the real joy of the collection," Wintour says. "I thought maybe it's his most confident and most successful collection to date."

"There were so many extraordinary shows in Paris, but Nicolas Ghesquière's choice to have 150+ brilliant singers dressed by the equally brilliant Milena Canonero behind a very modern collection—a mix of romance meets scuba—to me was a great finale for a wonderful Paris season," Wintour says.

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
