My First Job Was at Anthropologie—Here's What I'm Buying There as a 30-Year-Old
Having a summer mall job was a rite of passage for anyone who came of age in the early 2000s—bonus points if it was at a millennial-loved store like Anthropologie, which was the location of my very first job in high school. (I followed it up with a job at yet another classic millennial obsession, Bath Body Works, but I digress.) The long days on my feet gave me so much respect for retail workers, and to this day, I can't look at a rack of clothes without being reminded of how we were supposed to organize the hangers with a finger's width between them.

The assortment includes a much more varied mix of styles than it used to, including trendy, timeless, glitzy, minimalist, sexy, practical, and more. Below, I'm rounding up the things I'd buy from Anthropologie right this second.
Baggy trousers are arguably the most popular trend right now, with Meghan Markle being their most recent fan.
