Kendall Jenner's Go-To Colorist Just Gave Me the Juiciest "Hot Girl Hair" Recs

Kendall Jenner's "old money" blonde. Kaia Gerber's "liquid brunette" locks. Emily Ratajkowski's iconic "cowboy copper." Behind every one of these jaw-dropping transformations is Jenna Perry, a celebrity colorist known for her effortless, "hot girl hair" techniques and a knack for coining the buzziest hair trends. (Does "cherry cola" ring a bell? Yeah, that was Perry!)
Her NYC salon is essentially a revolving door of celebs, so of course her holiday beauty recs are very It-girl coded. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say her gift guide is the closest it comes to a beauty lover's bible (at least in my opinion!). She shares lots of pro haircare staples, yes, but she also drops underrated fragrance finds that simply ooze cool. Below, discover the swoon-worthy shopping list.
1. Crown Affair The Brush No. 001
First things first: an essential. "I definitely recommend a really good brush. I love the Crown Affair No. 001 Brush," she shares. She especially loves the specific boar and nylon bristles, which help stimulate the scalp and distribute natural oils for a healthy, silky gleam. "I'm really big on brushing your hair these days," Perry adds. "I think there was a time where [many of us] didn't brush our hair because it looked cooler when it was unkempt, but really into healthy hair backed by a brush." Detangling wet or dry ultimately depends on your hair type and texture, but if you do comb dry strands, you really can't go wrong with this Crown Affair pick.
2. Frédéric Malle Portrait of a Lady Hair Body Oil
Frédéric Malle's Portrait of a Lady fragrance is such an expensive-smelling scent. I personally wish I could bathe in the Turkish rose infused potion, but this hair and body oil is basically the next best thing. "I love a two-in-one," adds Perry. "It's a really pretty floral scent, and the packaging is really beautiful."
3. Dyson Airwrap Multi-Styler
"Everyone needs a Dyson Airwrap," Perry declares. (Heard!) "I'm big on people having an easy routine at home, so I think that the Airwrap is definitely a hero." Not to mention the strawberry bronze colorway (so chic) is $100 off right now at Sephora. Act fast on this one!
4. Jenna Perry Hair Gift Card
Of course, we had to include a Jenna Perry Hair gift card. As someone who has personally been coiffed by a number of hair wizards at Perry's salon, let me just say: There's nothing like a Jenna Perry blowout. It's worth the trip.
5. Dries Van Noten La Cienega Fresh and Bright Fragrance Discovery Set
This Dries Van Noten discovery set makes a fabulous stocking stuffer for your fragrancehead friend. (Hi, it's me. I'm the fragrancehead friend.) "All of the fragrances are so pretty, and I love the way the packaging and display looks," Perry explains. "It's just something really fun to find your perfect scent. It's very unisex as well."
6. Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm
"I love the Aesop Hand Balm. I think hand balms are always something that we all need, especially in the dry weather," Perry says. And if you find one that makes you feel downright luxurious, like this number? Well, that's a win-win.
7. The Sleepy Tie
"Something that I am obsessed with is the Sleepy Tie. It's basically this scrunchie that you wear in your hair at night. It's silk, and it gives you the perfect blowout the next day," Perry explains. "It's also really cute when I wear it in my hair at night. I just feel pretty." Imagine a heatless curling set (you know, the ones you see on TikTok) in one, easy-to-use scrunchie. "I don't think people know about it yet, but it's so good. I'm obsessed with it," Perry adds. Consider this your sign to snag the tie before it undoubtedly sells out.
8. Le Labo Laurier 62 Classic Candle
"We all love a candle," Perry notes, who considers Le Labo's Laurier 62 one of her all-time favorites. "It's sweet enough, but it also really lights up a room," she adds.
9. Omnilux Contour Face
"I actually just ordered it for myself," Perry says of this best-selling LED mask. "I'm so excited for it. It's pretty cool because it velcros around your head, so you can take it on the plane with you if you wanted, or you can pack it." It's a pretty penny, but most LED devices are an investment, especially if it's high-quality and FDA-cleared (which is what you want!). Bella Hadid reportedly loves it too—just saying!
10. Ettitude 100% Lyocell From Organic Bamboo Standard Sheet Set
This last one may feel a tad random, but take it from Perry: When it comes to healthy hair, "a good sheet is really important." She loves Ettitude's bamboo set, noting how it feels "almost like silk" and comes in every color. "I've noticed it's been really good for my hair and my skin," she shares—and she certainly knows a thing or two about soft, shiny strands.
