This Viral Fairytale-Inspired Makeup Brand Is So Pretty You *Almost* Won't Want to Use It
I wouldn't be a beauty editor if makeup wasn't a passion of mine. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to sample some pretty incredible brands, but I haven't tried one quite like Flower Knows. This brand has such stunningly housed products that you almost won't even want to touch them. Each deserves a spot in the MoMa with how beautiful and detailed they are. I've fallen in love with some of its offerings recently, and I couldn't continue to gatekeep them. It just wouldn't be right. The brand has gained quite a bit of traction on TikTok too, but I still think it deserves a little more love.
The packaging is what initially drew me in, but I can confirm that the formulas are equally as worth it. It's not just a beautiful aesthetic. The brand has multiple fairytale-inspired collections, from Bunny Garden to Midsummer Fairytales, that are so fun to play with when doing your makeup. They really call to my inner child.
The only con about this brand that I have to call out is that it's not very sustainable. In 2026, I feel that it's important to create products that are better for the planet. After all, the beauty industry is one of the largest culprits when it comes to environmental waste, and it's our job to do everything we can to improve that. The packaging is beautiful, incredibly detailed, and not something I'd want to throw away after use. That's why I hope the brand will eventually make refills for each of its products.
That said, the brand is still super special. If you want to feel like a kid again when doing your makeup, take a look below at my favorites.
When I first saw this packaging, I was completely enthralled. "Angelic" is the perfect word to describe it. This highlighter shade is a sparkling blend of cool blue and purple topped with a pearly shimmer. We often talk about products that impart an ethereal glow, but this one takes it to a whole new level. It contains the brand's low-temperature dehydration technology, which creates an extremely lightweight yet cushiony texture on the skin.
This cool-toned palette is housed in a mesmerizing case and contains a mix of soft beige, peach, neutral pink, and cool gray. With a variety of mattes and shimmers, it's easy to create both soft and bold looks with it. What I like about Flower Knows palettes is that they're buildable without lacking pigment. There's nothing more disappointing than using a palette that doesn't deliver the amount of color that you want no matter how much you build it up. While Flower Knows palettes initially seem more subtle in the color department, they still show up nicely on darker skin tones, and you can really increase the amount of color based on your preference that day.
I don't usually reach for cool-toned palettes, but now, I'm definitely interested in getting my hands on this one based on my experience with one of the brand's other palettes that I'll talk about in a bit.
This gorgeously packaged primer comes in three different options designed to correct redness, uneven tone, and dullness—you can pick your poison. If you're acne prone like myself, the green formula works wonders for camouflaging active acne and redness, giving you a smooth and even base to work with. It's also really hydrating without leaning too heavy.
The Lip Creams from Flower Knows are really special. They somehow manage to be as pigmented as matte lipstick while still feeling really hydrating on the lips. Some matte lip stains and sticks tend to feel like sandpaper after a few hours and start to crack, but these don't. They give your lips a filter effect, blurring and smoothing them for a camera-ready finish.
This blush is one of my favorite offerings from the brand. I'll admit I don't usually love powder blushes, but there's something so unique about this formula. While it initially feels like a powder, it has a creamy undertone to it that applies beautifully to the skin. I was a little intimidated by the shade Berry Bunny because I thought it might be too dark for my skin, but it's actually the perfect subtle berry. It's super buildable and just melts into the skin. We also have to talk about the embossing done in the actual powder. It's so intricate and gorgeous that I almost don't want to use it and mess it up.
This palette is my top choice from the brand. I didn't expect to love the soft, muted tones so much. Sometimes, those types of colors don't show up well on Black and Brown skin, but the soft apricot and brown in this are so pretty when applied. They don't lack in pigment, and like other Flower Knows palettes, they're really buildable. I've been loving wearing them out to work events lately.
Take your makeup remover to the next level with the brand's adorably housed cleansing balm. This opulent jar was inspired by the style of the royal courts of old with intricate bows and florals on the lid. Featuring plant oil extracts, the formula is designed to remove makeup with ease without drying out the skin.
