This Dermstore Sale Is So, So Good: 20 Summer Skincare Products I'm Buying ASAP

I said I wouldn't buy any more skincare products this summer. Call me weak. Call me impressionable, but I can't resist a really, really good sale. So, here I am, shopping again, despite my best efforts. That's because Dermstore's Sale on Sale is happening through July 8. Take an extra 10% off sale items with code EXTRA10. It's possible to save up to 40% on summertime staples like sunscreens, vitamin C serums, and more. You can see how it's difficult for me to resist, right? My chance to refresh and restock my summer skincare routine is here, and I'm gonna take it. Ahead, see all 20 items I'm snagging before they sell out.
One of my favorite French pharmacy products of all time is this iconic formula that does triple duty: It's a moisturizer, mask, and makeup primer in one. No matter how you use it, the essential fatty acids and vitamins will leave your skin smooth and plump.
As I enter the last year of my 20s, I'm starting to see a loss of elasticity in the skin around my jaw, neck, and chest. This high-tech serum is the solution. The hero ingredient is a proprietary complex of amino acids, peptides, and enzymes. There's also seaweed extract, snow mushroom, and pumpkin seed extract to collectively firm, tighten, and lift the skin.
IMO, the superior form of vitamin C is tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate. It's a mouthful, but it's essentially a highly stable, oil-soluble form. Translation? It effectively brightens, evens, and protects the skin without a high risk of going bad or becoming ineffective.
This vitamin C serum contains 3% tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, as well as vitamin E, Kakadu plum extract, and phloretin (a potent antioxidant). It defends against environmental aggressors, including air pollution and blue light. Yeah, it's a certified summer skincare staple.
If you get keratosis pilaris (KP) or ingrown hairs like me, you feel my pain. Those stubborn red bumps and painful ingrowns pop all the time. This year, I'm nixing them for good with this body care duo that includes ingrown hair-eliminating pads and body exfoliator. Smooth skin, here I come.
As a 100% mineral sunscreen, this formula uses zinc oxide to protect the skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays. It's lightweight, non-greasy, and surprisingly, doesn't leave a major white cast. This SPF will live in my beach bag.
So many celebs count on Kate Somerville products (and facial treatments) to keep their skin glowing, and this hydrating serum is included. It uses a high-tech delivery system to bring dual-weight hyaluronic acid deep into the skin. Both instantly and over time, it will hydrate, plump, and smooth the skin.
I love using a microneedle roller to nix fine lines, wrinkles, and old acne scars. I use this once a week. At night, after cleansing, I gently roll it over my skin so the tiny needles can poke through the surface. These "micro-injuries" stimulate the skin to create more collagen. I even use it on my scalp where my hair thins from traction alopecia (AKA stress from wearing high buns and ponytails too often). By stimulating collagen, the microneedle roller can actually encourage new hair growth. Cool, right?
This gentle body scrub is perfect for sensitive skin types. By removing dead skin, the scrub smoothes and softens texture while manuka honey keeps the moisture balance in check and soothes irritation.
I love BeautyStat's Universal C Skin Refiner ($85), so I had high expectations for this moisturizer. Luckily, those expectations were met. It has a light-as-air and super hydrating formula thanks to hyaluronic acid, ceramides, mushroom ferment, and green tea extract.
I use facial oil year round to do at-home lymphatic drainage face massages. Skin Gym's Signature Face oil is rich in jojoba, rosehip, hazelnut, and apricot seed oils. Together, these oils moisturize, smooth, brighten, and protect the skin.
LED masks treat everything from fine lines and wrinkles to acne, and this one is seriously on sale right now (almost $100 off its original price!). Using FDA-cleared technology and 66 LED lights, this mask improves the skin with no downtime. I use an LED mask every night before bed. It takes 10 minutes, and I can see a visible improvement in my skin.
In need of a detoxifying mask that won't strip the skin of moisture or irritate it? This is it. Wheat germ, rose, and geranium oils decongest pores, while cranberry, avocado oil, and plant butter moisturize and nourish the skin.
News flash: I love a body roller and/or at-home lymphatic drainage tool. Jenny Patinkin's Rose on Rose Body Roller is at the top of my list. Start with the upper body and work towards the heart, rolling the tool over the skin with light to medium pressure and in long strokes. Roll over each area three to four times. Move to the lower body and work from the feet up to the groin. Bonus points if you work the tool in a wiggling motion near the major lymph nodes (like the groin, collar bone, and underarm area). Doing so will facilitate better lymphatic drainage.
Every beauty editor's favorite skin cream, Weleda Skin Food is rich, creamy, and ultra-moisturizing. I use it on my hands, feet, and elbows whenever they're feeling dry. Occasionally, I'll use this cream on my face to repair the moisture barrier after skin irritation, sunburn, or an in-office treatment.
A luxe body oil is a summer must. 111Skin's Rose Gold Radiance Body Oil is my pick. Natural oils and extracts—including chamomile and rosemary—replenish the skin and dial up the glow. I'm telling you, apply this after a beach day, and your skin will be smooth, moisturized, and glowing.
Enlarged pores? No thanks. StriVectin's Super Shrink Pore Minimizing Serum removes dead skin and impurities, tightens pores, and absorbs excess oil. If you're trying not to have an oily-girl summer, this mattifying serum is a must.
This serum from celebrity esthetician Joanna Vargas is worth the price tag even when it's not on sale. When it is on sale, I say snag it as quickly as you can. Combining retinol, peptides, and plant stem cells, it basically overhauls the skin and targets everything from fine lines and wrinkles to hyperpigmentation and loss of elasticity. I can't say enough good things.
Repeat after me: Handcare is skincare! The hands age quickly due to dryness and sun exposure, which is why I always keep a bottle of a rich, softening formula on my bedside table. Embryolisse's formula is one of my favorites. The French pharmacy pick soothes, softens, and hydrates my hands for healthier-looking skin.
If you have sensitive skin like me, you know how summer can wreak havoc, causing dryness, redness, and irritation on your limbs. Ren's Evercalm Barrier Support Body Balm is my fix. The smooth formula moisturizes, protects, and softens my skin without any excess irritation. The secret is in the formula—chamomile and calendula oils soak the skin in soothing comfort.
Masktini's Night Ranger Overnight Renewal Mask delivers better-looking skin by morning. Exfoliating acids from Australian caviar limes remove dead skin, pineapple enzymes brighten dark spots, and a saltwater plant extract provides anti-aging antioxidants. There's even a special sap derived from trees native to Greece that improves skin density and sculpts facial contours. Talk about a do-it-all skin treatment.
