So, what does this LED mask do? The clever device features a combination of 62 LED lights in blue mode and 100 LED lights in red mode to help tackle a range of skincare concerns. There are three treatment modes available, one using red light, one using blue light and one using a combination of both.

Red light benefits:

- Stimulate collagen production

- Firm the skin and smooth fine lines

- Even skin tone

Blue light benefits:

- Destroy acne-causing bacteria

- Help clear breakouts

How Often Do You Need to Use the Dr Dennis Gross LED Mask?

The thing with LED masks is that they have to be used consistently over a long period of time in order to see results. The brand recommends using this mask for three minutes every single day, and that's exactly what I've been doing for the past few weeks. However, if you're new to LED light therapy, you could always start with three times a week and build up from there.

How Does the Dr Dennis Gross LED Mask Compare To Other Models?

As mentioned, this LED mask does have a higher price point compared to some other models. That being said, it does have many benefits that other masks don't currently offer, the main one being the option of both solo and combined treatments. A lot of masks only offer red light therapy, so the fact that you can choose from three different modes with this one is a huge plus.

Another benefit is the treatment time. While other masks may require up to ten minutes per treatment, the fact that this only takes three minutes is perfect if you're always on the go, like me.

So, how did I find this tool? I'm going to be honest, I was sceptical when I got my hands on the device. I like a quick and easy skincare routine, so the idea of adding another step seemed like a faff, and I wasn't sure if I would see any difference. Oh, how I was wrong.

First of all, this is by far the easiest beauty tool I have ever used. All you have to do is place it onto your face, adjust the strap at the back and press the button on the front of the device to turn it on. Press it once for the red light mode, twice for the blue light mode and three times for a combination of the two. I've been using a combination of red and blue light as I was keen to even out my skin tone and also battle some breakouts on my chin.

It's hands-free so I can do bits around the house while I'm wearing it, and the fact that you only have to wear it for three minutes is an absolute dream.

Before and After Using the Dr Dennis Gross LED Mask

While I've only been using the device for a few weeks, I've already noticed a difference in my skin. The breakout on my chin is significantly smaller, and overall, I feel like my complexion looks a lot brighter and more even.

This device has honestly been so easy to fit into my nightly routine, it hasn't irritated my sensitive skin and the fact that I'm already noticing a difference is a huge plus. Yes, it's a little bit bulky (some LED devices are made from flexible silicone, meaning that they fit a little closer to the face), and yes, I look a little bit like a robot when I wear it, but it's totally worth it.

It is definitely on the expensive side, but if you compare the price of the mask to an in-salon LED treatment, you really are getting your cost per wear with this. It's an investment, but one that your skin will thank you for in the long run.
