The 5 Brands to Shop for Beach Bags That You'll Love and Keep Forever

While the thought of a designer beach bag may sound silly to some—my dear husband falls into that camp—it's a completely reasonable luxury investment to others. Whether you travel a lot, enjoy beach days, or simply like to elevate your everyday summer attire at home, a chic tote can really boost your outfit and, with it, even your mood! At least, it works that way for me…

Now, if you're still reading, then I take it you're interested in buying one of these summer-ready bags. Yay. Luckily, there are endless options. In fact, you can find a ton here and here that our editors have already vetted and endorsed. Maybe you're overwhelmed by the number of choices on the market these days? Were it not my job to literally shop all day, I would probably be, which is why I thought I would narrow the pool down to the top five brands I think truly excel in this department. Not only are they putting out some of the best pieces on the market this season, but they've also proven year over year that their bags stand the test of time meaning you won't be over your buy this time next summer.

Saint Laurent

There's a reason every stylish celebrity, from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to Hailey Bieber, has been seen with a Saint Laurent bag on their shoulder. The brand has truly mastered the "timeless yet trendy but often a touch edgy" It bag, and this translates to its beach-ready styles seamlessly. From its iconic raffia totes to the newer wood-bead styles, you can't go wrong with a beach bag from Saint Laurent.

Miu Miu

Whether you opt for one of the brands recently viral rainbow styles or something more classic and muted, a Miu Miu bag is forever. I know this because my mom and sisters have old bags from decades ago that they still love. There's a reason they're always selling out!

Celine

Just when I think Celine's bags can't get any better, the brand manages to outdo itself with the subtlest little details. There's just something about the brand's perfect raffia paired with its iconic Triomphe logo that never gets old. Whether you wear it on the beach or around town, a Celine raffia bag adds a touch of French sophistication to any outfit.

Prada

Oh, to be a cool girl vacationing in Europe with a Prada bag on her arm! Aimee Song's perfect outfit aside, the bags draw attention no matter who's wearing them. They strike the perfect balance of cool and classic, and the brand is a trove of options for any type of vibe. All I can say is good luck choosing one.

Loewe

You had to know this was coming. Between its recurring collaboration with Paula's Ibiza and its mainline pieces, Loewe's beach bags have been dominating the beach scene for years, and I don't see that slowing down. I love the bag that I bought six or seven years ago just as much as I do the one I bought two years ago, and I'm still considering snagging a third!
