I genuinely can't remember the last time I wore a pair of high heels. Chic little kitten heels? Absolutely. Anything over two inches? Absolutely not. It's been flats and flats only for the past few months. As I've grown accustomed to my new low-to-the-ground lifestyle, I couldn't help but think about my footwear selection for the winter months that still lie ahead. Will I eventually be reaching for boots, or will flats be my go-to shoe choice? By the looks of all the new designer arrivals hitting the retailers, it's looking like the phenomenon of flats is not quitting any time soon.

I'm not the only one having a flat-shoe winter (and likely spring) featuring everything from ballet flats to loafers and everything in between. By no means am I saying I'll never wear boots again, but I am ready to embrace a fall wardrobe driven by fun flats this season, and I welcome you to come along for the ride. Below, I've shopped out my 30 favorite flats on the market that I know will make any winter 'fit feel 10 times cooler.
