Cashmere Is a Staple in My Spring Wardrobe—This is Where I Shop It on the High Street
The words "affordable" and "cashmere" aren't often found together. In fact, I tend to be dubious when they are—but not when Marks and Spencer is part of that equation. I've been shopping in the high-street institution for as long as I can remember (one of my earliest memories is looking at red-velvet dresses for Christmas in the children's department at the age of 4), so when it came to investing in my first piece of cashmere, I knew exactly where to turn.
Buying cashmere is a rite of passage for grown-ups, but you needn't completely break the bank to add some luxury to your wardrobe. I've been fortunate to have cashmere from high-end designers as well as Marks and Spencer, and I can confirm that the high-street retailer's iterations have held up just as well (if not better) than those with plush price tags.
Since it's too good to keep to myself, I've decided to share with you my edit of the very best Marks and Spencer cashmere jumpers—from brights to basics, crews necks to cardigans. Simply tuck them into, well, everything (satin skirts, high-waist jeans, wide-leg trousers, on your shoulders over dresses etc.) for the perfect spring ensemble.
Shop My Edit of the Best H&M Cashmere:
Layer a vest over dresses, blouses and tees for an extra layer as we hover between winter and spring.
V necks are big news this season, but to keep the trend feeling timeless, opt for a classic navy blue hue.
I'm seeing this with cream-wide leg trousers and loafers this spring.
A short-sleeved style is perfect for warmer weather.
