This Is the Type of Sports Bra I Love to Wear to All My Workouts
I know workouts should be about the exercise itself and how you feel during and after a sweat session. It makes sense because if you're not doing a workout that you enjoy and that's effective for you, then it's not a very fun or productive experience. But can we just talk about something that's not the most important thing in a workout but still makes a difference? I'm talking about activewear here.
Yes, sometimes what I'm wearing can really make my workout more fun. To me, there's nothing like wearing a cute activewear set to a class or the gym and feeling yourself. Am I the only one who feels this way?
When I'm looking for activewear pieces, I want them to be functional, of course. Who wants to keep pulling up their leggings during a class or feeling like their boobs aren't supported at all while doing a HIIT set or cardio? No one. But I also gravitate toward pieces that have a little bit of stylish flair. I want to look good and feel good.
While I have a lot of basic leggings and sports bras, one of my favorite things to do is add some pattern or prints into my workout gear. I think it makes my exercise session a little less serious and a little more fun. Currently, I'm all about a patterned sports bra and solid leggings. It's not too out-there or flashy, but it's still a little bit more exciting than your regular black-on-black set. Give it a whirl sometime if you haven't already. It's fun!
And if you need some help with finding the best pattern sports bras, I've compiled a list of all the ones I'm currently eyeing at the moment. Take a look below.
The splatter print on this racerback sports bra is giving artsy vibes. It's designed for low-impact classes like yoga and barre.
Alo's sports bra is made with the brand's compressive, flexible, and breathable fabric. This one is perfect for low- to medium-impact classes.
This medium-support piece is made with sweat-resistant fabric that also stretches and sculpts. The elastic straps are adjustable so you can personalize the fit.
It doesn't get more classic than this racerback bra—but the snakeskin print gives it an edge.
The cropped fit of this sports bra makes it easy to wear solo because it provides enough coverage. It's made of the softest fabric that's also breathable, sweat-wicking, and quick-drying.
Designed for your yoga sessions, this seamless bra has a fun tie-dye pattern. It has removable cups and a strappy back for even more breathability.
The design of this sports bra is unique—it has multiple straps and a V-shaped design in the back. The ultra-soft fabric is medium-weight and perfect for yoga and studio classes.
If you're looking for a bra with enough support for HIIT and cardio classes, try this one from Lululemon. It has lightweight and breathable built-in cups that are designed to minimize bounce. Plus, the clasp closure in the back makes it easy to put on and take off.
If you're not quite sold on patterns and prints, this sports bra is a good place to start because it has a subtle design. It's made of Nike's signature Dri-Fit fabric that is moisture-wicking and breathable.
The pretty floral print is so delicate and timeless, which is so unexpected for a sports bra, so automatically I love it. The longline fit provides extra coverage and the wide straps make it so comfortable to wear.
This sports bra has a strappy back, so it's super breathable and easy to move in. It's compressive enough to provide support for a variety of activities, such as yoga, Pilates, and training sessions.
Liberty of London makes the most iconic prints, and now you can get one on a sports bra. The medium-impact piece is perfect for running, training, and cardio.
With spaghetti straps and a shelf bra design, this piece has a slimmer silhouette than other sports bras. The sun-and-moon print has just a hint of shine.
Marimekko is another brand that makes some standout prints, and it's teamed up with Adidas on some activewear, like this sports bra. The scoop-neck design has adjustable straps and provides low-impact support.
Not only is this sports bra pretty fun with its animal-print design, but it's also super comfortable thanks to its wide shoulder straps and front zipper.
The swirly design on this one is so cool and abstract. It's made especially for cardio workouts, like running, HIIT classes, and training sessions. And since cardio exercise can get sweaty, the racerback design provides breathability.
The smoky tie-dye design is just subtle enough for the pattern-averse. It provides medium-impact support and has moisture-wicking technology.
The cutout design on this sports bra will make you want to keep it on long after class is over.
You can't go wrong with a classic camo print. The neon green piping makes the piece a little more modern and trendy.
This racerback sports bra is specially designed for your yoga practice. And it's so lightweight that you'll probably feel like you're wearing nothing during your workout so you're able to move freely.
