15 Leggings That Will Get You Through Your Summer Workouts
I don't need to tell you that working out during the summer months can be hot and sweaty. Heck, sometimes the heat can be unbearable if you're indoors. Even if I find myself in a nice air-conditioned gym or studio, I can still feel the heat. Leaving a cool indoor space in your sweaty workout clothes in the dead of summer and getting a blast of hot air is just a jarring experience.
But the heat shouldn't get in the way of your workouts if you take the right precautions to make sure you're doing it safely and avoiding dehydration, heat exhaustion, or even a heat stroke. You'll want to take cool showers; drink plenty of water and/or other hydrating fluids; work out earlier in the morning or later in the evenings; and pay attention to your body so you can stop if you're pushing yourself too hard.
It helps to change up your activewear during the summer months, too. The same thicker leggings and tops that keep you warm and cozy during the winter months will make you feel even hotter and more uncomfortable in the summer. Try to choose activewear in lighter colors that will reflect the sun, lightweight fabrics, and of course, pieces that are really sweat-wicking.
If you're in need of some summer-ready leggings, take a look at some options below.
1. Girlfriend Collective Mahogany Float High-Rise Leggings
