I'm a 34DD, so Shopping for Swimwear Online Isn't Easy—9 Brands I Tried That Actually Fit

Shopping for swimsuits used to be the absolute bane of my existence, and I just know that many of us share the same experience. No matter what brand I tried, I always felt like I had to switch up what size I ordered. Having a bigger bust and smaller frame meant that my top size and bottom size never lined up. This led to many, many returns and unhappy package deliveries.
I finally found some peace of mind when Triangl first blew up. I don't know about you, but when the brand first launched, it was the only thing I ever saw when I opened the Instagram app. It carries something called "Small ++" for people who wouldn't fit into a large band but have a larger cup size. I was in heaven upon my discovery of the brand's swimsuits.
Thankfully, things have become much easier for me in the swimsuit department, as I've figured out which suits to buy by taking very close looks at the size-and-fit sections and learning which brands I trust. My picks below work on much more than just my body type, so find your new summer 'fit below.
Monday Swim
Monday Swimwear was practically built for curves—the founders both have bigger busts, so you just know the support will be real. Its underwire tops and thicker straps are low-key engineered to lift but still look sleek. If you’re someone who appreciates a little structure without sacrificing style, this one’s a yes.
Triangl Swim
Triangl is not just a nostalgic moment; it was my first love as a girl who was looking for more supportive swimwear. The neoprene styles come with the option to add a ++ behind your size to get even more room and chest support. Not very many brands can say that.
Riot Swim
Riot Swim is all about that barely there, buttery-soft vibe, and the fabric really works with curves. While it’s not an underwire situation, the stretchy material molds to your shape and somehow stays put in a very effortlessly flattering way. It’s perfect if you want something minimal that still feels secure enough to actually wear—not just pose in.
Cuup
Cuup is one of the few brands that really nail support and sexiness at the same time. Its swim tops are basically its beloved bras, just waterproof—and they go up to an H cup. If you want a suit that feels as tailored as your lingerie drawer, this is the move.
Reina Olga
Renia Olga makes swimwear that’s dramatic and sculptural and kind of gives “vacationing heiress” energy. While it’s not designed with full support in mind, the structured cuts and luxe fabric have a flattering, lifting effect that surprises you in the best way—ideal for when you want to feel like a walking editorial but still need your suit to do something.
Hunza G
Hunza G is a one-size-fits-most situation, and surprisingly, it does stretch to accommodate a bigger bust. That said, don’t expect lift or separation—it’s more of a relaxed fit that hugs you without holding you. Ideal for chill beach days, less so for high-impact swim.
Vix Paula Hermanny
Vix combines elegance and comfort in a way that feels very “grown but fun.” A lot of its styles have thicker straps, adjustable bands, and strategically placed seams that actually flatter and support a fuller chest without making it feel like a bra. If you're into swimwear that looks just as good with a pareo at lunch as it does on the beach, this brand nails it.
Matteau
Matteau used to lean very minimalist (read: small), but it's added expanded sizing that’s finally friendly for C/D cups—even in its petite sizes. The support is subtle but smart, and the fabrics are high-quality enough to feel secure. It’s quietly confident swimwear for those who don’t want anything too fussy.
Form and Fold
Form and Fold is basically a swimwear holy grail for bigger busts—it was literally founded by two women with D+ cups. The pieces have underwire, strategic seams, and wide straps that feel like armor (but make it fashion). If you want swimwear that feels chic and engineered, this one’s for you.
