Having melanin-rich skin myself, I've often wondered if the products I'm using are truly the right match for my tone, texture, and general skincare challenges. Truth be told, there's no shortage of amazing products out there that are effective and loved by many, but when I try them for myself, the results just don't quite come through.

Many serums, lotions, and other potions say they're designed for all skin types, and that may be true, but there's just another layer to Black and Brown skin that sometimes gets overlooked. That's why I decided to ask Black skin experts for what they use to keep everything, from acne to hyperpigmentation, at bay. Read on below for the tried-and-true products they swear by that help them overcome their biggest skincare challenges.
