How to Dress Comfortably in Your 30s
Speaking from personal experience, when you're in your 30s, you may start to second-guess throwing on sweatpants and a T-shirt when you want to dress comfortably more often than you did in your 20s. In your 30s, you're probably thinking about looking polished and professional more than ever, which can often trump comfort—but it doesn't have to. Just look at some of our favorite 30-something celebrities (Sienna Miller, Kate Bosworth, and Miranda Kerr, to name a few). These women have perfected polished comfort so well that you may not even initially recognize that any given outfit of theirs is in fact quite comfortable.
When it comes to pieces that these celebs rely on to achieve said polished comfort yet still maintain a youthful sensibility, there are a few in particular that always pop up—wide-leg pants, sleek white sneakers, and midi-length skirts and dresses. If you stock your wardrobe with these items, you may never feel the need to step out in sweats again.
Click below to see eight 30-something celebs who consistently wear comfortable outfits that are appropriate for much more than a Netflix marathon (but still comfy enough for one of those, if you're so inclined), and shop the key pieces they rely on to perfect that delicate "comfortable yet chic" balance.
