I'm a Sweater Snob—30 Elevated Styles That Have My Attention
I'm at the point in the winter where I am completely over it. I'm ready for warm days in the city, spritzes on rooftops in Brooklyn, and weekends in Montauk. While I may be dreaming of summer, the reality is I better buckle up for at least another two months of early sunsets, chilly commutes to the office, and making sure I bring an umbrella with me every time I leave the house.
Winter isn't all bad. After all, it is sweater season, and I have a bit of an affinity for them. They're the ultimate combination of cozy and stylish and can be worn to literally anything, and a good one will last you years. As an NYC-based editor, I've had my fair share of trial and error when it comes to sweaters on both ends of the price spectrum. This is not to say I'm an expert on sweaters, but maybe I'm an expert adjacent. To get myself out of my winter funk, I decided to round up some of the best sweaters out there right now. These are sweaters so good that even the biggest summer lover will start to warm to the idea of the cold.
Keep scrolling to see which 30 sweaters made my list.
Pia above is wearing the red version that is currently sold out, but not to worry—it comes in a few other colors like this pretty gray.
I'd style this off-the-shoulder striped knit top with a miniskirt and sheer tights.
There's something so elevated about this shade of blue.
This is the most elevated looking turtleneck sweater out there if you ask me. I'm obsessed with this one.
