You Can Soon Shop Directly From Facebook

It seems every social network is adding shopping to their list of functions. Up next? Facebook. As Harper's Bazaar pointed out from a report on BuzzFeed, Facebook is developing an integrated shopping function. Currently being tested on a small group of users, this new feature will allow brands to host a product selection directly from their Facebook pages.

Check out a mock of what this service will look like on mobile above. As you can see, the shoppable section will appear at the top of a brand's Timeline. Retailers will then have the option of allowing consumers to purchase products directly from the page using an integrated checkout system, or directing them to their own website to purchase.

So interesting. What do you think? Would you shop directly from Facebook? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. And if you're in the mood for a little shopping right now, check out these gorgeous summer dresses under $100.
