Every Fashion Editor I Know in NYC Is Wearing This One Necklace
When attending dinners, runway shows, and press previews in NYC recently, I’ve been making some observations about what fellow fashion editors are wearing. Watches are one of the hot buys of the moment. Capri pants are everywhere. Conversation-starting flat shoes continue to dominate. The piece that is winning, though, that I’m seeing on practically every single New York fashion editor? Charm necklaces. They are truly the piece of the summer and there are so many great styles on the market.
These necklaces are falling into two camps. The first are minimalist pendant-style necklaces finished with one dominant, solitary charm. These are typically in the form of shells, donut-shaped stones, or circular silver charms—often, set on a corded necklace. The second are maximalist necklaces covered in a myriad of charms—often, paired with other jewelry pieces such as the collar chokers that are also taking over this season. Ahead are the best charm necklaces to shop right now.
Adina Reyter is a key brand I'm seeing all of the fashion people wear, and the stunning necklaces are sitting at the top of this editor's shopping list.
Finished with a swirled charm.
This version is especially popular among the editor set.
