We might not be at the end of 2024 yet, but as a jewellery fiend, I've already been deciphering what might be the biggest trends to come in 2025.
The spring/summer 2025 runways spoke loudly and introduced a slew of notable jewellery trends, with the majority of designers featuring fresh, daring adornments that sat high and swung low. From Valentino's beguiling ear cuffs to Schiaparelli's playful 20th-century inspired clasp chokers and mystical sea shell drops courtesy of Chloé, plenty of pretty details caught my eye at the shows; and although the aesthetics varied, themes of whimsicality and nostalgia dominated.
You may notice how spirited jewellery is becoming by the year, and that's a recurring theme for 2025. This year shone a light on bold, unapologetic styles and colour, and organic textures and weighty jewels will continue to be lauded for next spring. Imagine my delight when I noticed that some of the most stylish dressers I know are already wearing the trends I predict will be big next year, giving them further clout and staying power.
So, without further ado, continue reading to discover the full extent of the jewellery trends I—and a slew of other fashion people—think will be big in 2025.
JEWELLERY TRENDS 2025
1. Cuff It
Style Notes: Like studs, cuff bracelets are doubling and trebling in size. Using Tiffany Co.'s Peretti cuff as a benchmark, designers have certainly been inspired by chunky, wavy bangles.

2. Molten Pearls
Style Notes: Pearls have been worn for millennia, and 21st-century fashion has inspired a new wave of designs. I've studied the evolution of pearls intently, and whilst once preppy and uniformly round, the pearl has taken on many shapes over the years. In my analysis, reimagined styles for 2025 are unpredictable and boast a contemporary lilt. The juxtaposition between the milky organic component and bashed, jaunty and unique shapes offers something fresh and inspired.

A dainty style in part with the integration of a barely-there pearl. It imitates the natural pearl form encased in a shell of sorts.

3. According to the Cord
Style Notes: Makeshift-style necklaces are undeniably noughties. The pendant on a rope garnered popularity again in 2024, and according to the trends, it'll continue well into 2025. Georgio Armani's spring/summer 1999 runway is a huge source of inspiration where this trend is concerned, as the fashion house debuted highly coveted jewels to pair with fluid designs.

Style Notes: Beads are a knock-on effect from the return of boho. In 2025, play into the look with layers of refined, earthy and polished jewels encased in gold and silver, ideally in unusual shapes and tones to help bring that unexpected element to the piece.

5. Elaborate Ear Cuffs

Whilst you may be familiar with a graduated (and refined) ear stack, the aforementioned brands are adhering to the "more is more" approach for 2025, with bejewelled iterations. From now on, you'll spot oversized ear cuffs dripping in diamonds and pearls.

Style Notes: Matthieu Blazy debuted Bottega Veneta's drop stud on the autumn/winter 2022 runway, which changed the course of costume jewellery. Bold studs have since cemented their place in many accessory lover's collections and shapeshifted into various forms from floral to seashell-inspired pieces.
