This is shaping up to be a great year for handbags. While there is a long list of much-anticipated styles that are just arriving on the market, a handful of standout styles top our list as the most investment-worthy. We first had a preview of the incoming handbags on the runways in the spring/summer 2025 collections. Styles such as the Chanel 25 and Polo Ralph Lauren Polo Play immediately stood out. While they are just arriving in stores now, they are already set to be a few of the key bags of 2025.

The Celine Antoinette and Bottega Venetta Ciao Ciao are also primed to be big this season and have already garnered attention on the street style set and among editors. Beyond this popularity, they're styles in Hedi Slimane's final collection for Celine and Matthieu Blazy's last collection for Bottega Veneta before leaving the houses, so they will likely have yet another level of cult status.

Another bag we're eyeing is the Chloé Paddington—a reissue of the iconic style that originally debuted in 2005. Chemena Kamali brought the east-west silhouette back on the fall/winter 2025 runway, and while wait lists for the new bags are already growing, savvy shoppers are adding the original vintage styles to their carts now. Ahead, read more on the best investment bags to shop in 2025.

Whether it's a rare vintage oxford shirt or one of the many coveted new arrivals, Polo Ralph Lauren is the brand every fashion insider wants in their closet. The Polo Play bag is one of the most exciting debuts from the brand for spring 2025. The slouchy bucket bag comes in several sizes, including everything from mini versions to giant totes. It launched in Italian leather in vibrant shades such as cherry red and parrot green as well as striped cotton canvas and crocheted versions that are primed for summer.

One of the most anticipated bags for spring 2025? The aptly named Chanel 25 bag, which was first spotted in the brand's S/S 25 runway collection. With its quilted design, CC closure, and woven chain strap, Wholesale Replica Bag bag to arrive from Chanel distills some of the French fashion house's most iconic codes, and the cargo pockets add a utilitarian detail. The Chanel 25 bag is available in three sizes that range from a small version perfect for an everyday bag to a large tote.

The recently released Ciao Ciao bag is one of the final bag designs by Blazy for Bottega Veneta. A cousin to the Andiamo, the top-handle bag is designed with a similar silhouette and signature knot detail set along a braided band, but it is finished with a flap instead of an open-top design. It's constructed of smooth leather, though fans of BV's Intrecciato weaving will still find it lining the interior pocket. Classic colors such as black and ecru were among the original colorway releases, and new-in shades include this season's popular Rose.

More and more, fashion has been looking back to the 1950s and 1960s, which has inspired the downtown set to wear iconic pieces from the decades, such as pillbox hats and polished leather gloves. This nostalgic style is also showing up in handbag designs, including one of the most noteworthy new bags from Celine: the Antoinette. The elegant frame design is reminiscent of styles popular of that time, and details like the Triomphe metallic closure make it feel very 2025.

Twenty years after its debut in the Chloé S/S 05 show by Phoebe Philo, the Paddington is back. The iconic bag was shown in Kamali's F/W 25 collection and will be making its official return later this year. While we await the rerelease of the cult padlock bag and its new meteoric rise, it's a prime time to snap up vintage styles.
