Move Over, Sweatpants—Chic Frequent Flyers Always Wear These Travel Outfits Instead
This year, I’ve been logging more miles on the airplane than usual, which has caused me to evaluate my airport outfits more closely. I’ve been interested in building out a wardrobe of travel looks so that my outfits are more intentional and elevated, whether it’s to hop on a short domestic trip or a long-haul international flight. I’ve often relied on the comfort of leggings or sweatpants when I’m getting dressed for the airport, but there are some other polished options I feel inspired to swap in.
I did some research to find updated outfit formulas for future travel, including everything from denim looks layered with shirts and jackets to the key way to dress up straight-leg trousers while still retaining maximum comfort for the duration of a flight. Ahead, see inspiration for polished airplane travel outfits and shop each of the looks for your next travel day.
