I love my Brooklyn neighborhood. It’s warm and inviting and a great break from full days of being in the city. I especially love taking a stroll near the park and seeing all the cool outfits my stylish neighbors are wearing. In the winter, the outfits get even better. Their interesting layers and fun accessories make their looks quite chic, but what really makes their outfits stand out to me are their shoes.

Kitten heels are one thing, but kitten-heel boots for the winter are absolutely fabulous to add to an outfit. Schlepping through the city in high-heeled boots sounds like a bit of a nightmare, which is why the kitten-heel detail is ideal (and very stylish).
Loafers
If you’re looking for an easy and comfortable shoe to add to a chill, casual look, a pair of loafers is the best route. This style is classic, stylish, and able to withstand the cold. You can wear it with jeans and a coat and call it a day.

Croc-embossed boots are so chic to me. The texture adds an interesting, eye-catching vibe to an otherwise plain winter look. So if you’re more of a minimalist dresser, I highly recommend adding a pair of croc-embossed boots to your shoe rotation.
