From Nightgowns to Pointelle Sets—6 Fashion Editors on the Pajamas They Swear By
I’ve always loved having a dedicated pajama collection. I still remember buying my first few ’90s vintage Victoria’s Secret slip dresses on Depop when I was growing up, and ever since, I’ve loved wearing dresses to bed. Nightgowns will always be my favorite, but once the temperatures drop, I inevitably reach for cozy pant sets as well.
Around the holidays and throughout the winter, pajamas move to the top of my shopping list. With more time spent at home, I want pieces that feel warm, comforting, and still a little polished—something I can wear to bed, wake up in, and lounge around the house while still feeling put together. Lately, I’ve been eyeing new pairs from Cou Cou, Hanro, Piyama, Salter, Leset, and Skims.
Curious about what other people swear by, I asked our editors to share their personal favorites, with brands ranging from Lake and Polo Ralph Lauren to Negative Underwear, Eberjey, and Gap. Below, a look at their go-tos—plus a handful of mine.

"This Lake Pajamas set has been coming with me on every trip for about two years now. It is the perfect combination of cozy enough for winter but lightweight enough for summer, and when you first wake up and are lounging around the house, it looks like you got all dressed up! I got the green for holiday season but wear it year-round,and it's truly seasonless."

"I first found out about Hanro after researching which tank top Nicole Kidman was wearing in Eyes Wide Shut: the Hanro V-Neck Cotton Camisole. I like the V-Neck Spaghetti-Strap Cotton Silkgown, too."
