From Perfume to Bedding—These Are the Random (But Great) Items I'm Loving Right Now
One of my guilty pleasures is watching "monthly favorites" videos on TikTok—the kind with a random assortment of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle items. There's something I love about seeing such a mix: a pair of shoes worn on repeat, a souvenir from a trip, even the most banal items like mouthwash. It feels curated and considered. It's a look back on the handful of things that actually stood out across their routine, wardrobe, and day-to-day life.
As an editor, I try a lot of products. On top of that, I've always been an extremely picky shopper who takes time before committing to anything. I'm not an impulse buyer, and I go down deep research rabbit holes before deciding if something's worth it. When I actually do love something, it's been thoroughly vetted.
As I looked back at the past month, a few stars immediately came to mind. The Rōz Milk Hair Serum is the only leave-in conditioner I've found that doesn't weigh my hair down. I'm also extremely late to the party, but I finally gave in to the BondiBoost Infrared Heated Thermal Hot Round Brush hype, and I'm into it. Ostermoor's duvet has the perfect weight—not too hot, not too cold. Then there are the smaller things: the candle my best friend's impeccably chic mom burns in her home, the elderberry syrup I'm convinced keeps me from getting sick, and Flamingo's chrome razor that actually looks good in the shower.
Below, see my random list of items I'm loving right now.
I found out about this brand through Caroline Stern and was immediately influenced to try it myself. It creates the perfect base to layer perfume with, and I've seen the scent compared to Indult's Tihota. I like using the body oil during the day and the balm at night.
Here's the TikTok-famous Sacheu lip stain, which comes in so many different colors.
I also have the scent My Way for this diffuser, which is inspired by 1 Hotel, Miami Beach.
