We're past the Fourth of July mark, which means that summer is in full swing, and it won't be over anytime soon. There are still many weeks of hot weather left, and it will only get hotter from here. When the heat index is hovering around 100° (basically every day in the South where I live), the only things I can stand wearing are dresses, sandals, and shorts. Luckily, there's an abundance of these three things on the internet right now.
Prompted by the current heat waves sweeping the country, I put together a handy list of my favorite items in each of these three categories of staples. I don't know about you, but I've already worn all of my favorite summer items multiple times, and it isn't even mid-July yet. Now, I'm eager to add a few new pieces to my warm-weather wardrobe.
