My mom and I have many similarities, but one of the most notable is our shared love for fashion. However, when it comes to personal style, we're quite opposite—I prefer a minimalist, understated look, while she goes for a more maximalist aesthetic. Despite our different tastes, I thought it would be fun to ask her which pieces from H&M's new arrivals caught her eye to create an edit that combines both of our choices and suits different dressers.

If you haven't already seen H&M's early fall collection, it's easily the most elevated and elegant it's ever looked.
