After learning that the fashion industry is the world’s second largest polluter after only oil and gas, I’ve been veering away from fast fashion, opting instead for brands that align with my values. And luckily for me, FEEL does. In addition to producing their jeans locally in small batches in California, the brand also washes the denim with organic softeners and zero toxic chemicals. Even the packaging is biodegradable! A quick scroll through the brand’s site also indicates that this sustainable focus isn’t just a marketing ploy, as they even provide educational information about how to recycle old jeans and list creative ways to reuse the package that the jeans come in.

Needless to say, as a denim fanatic, these have definitely piqued my interest—and for good reason. It’s hard enough to find jeans that fit well and feel good, but add to that the brand’s sustainable focus, and FEEL has me obsessed already. Yes, I’ve already gone through the fit guide (which takes you through a step-by-step process and is very helpful), so I’m guessing it’s only a matter of time before I crack and make the purchase.
