I've Never Seen a $75 Top Explode in the Fashion Community Like This

The Frankie Shop was founded in 2014 and has quickly become a go-to fashion brand for women who crave an assortment of unique minimal separates. Its owner, Gaelle Drevet, has always had her finger on the pulse. She co-founded cult-favorite Pixie Market almost 15 years ago, and now with The Frankie Shop she's satiating our need for "unfussy, wallet-conscious styles."

The brand's latest hit item is a $75 muscle tank that has quite literally taken over Instagram. "Back in July, I felt I wanted to use more shoulder pads, and since we are fans of jazzing up classic shapes, we tried it with a regular tee," Drevet says of the tank's origin story. "We didn't get it quite right, though. Then the idea of making it sleeveless came around during a conversation with art director Evangelie Smyrniotaki aka Style Heroine via text. We were sharing our love of strong shoulder silhouettes, and this is how it happened."

The Frankie Shop has sold an astonishing few thousand muscle tanks so far and the brand is currently sold out on its site. "We have new colors coming for spring," Drevet shares. "They'll be on Net-a-Porter soon."

Ahead, see the muscle tank in action, and if you're ready to add it to your wardrobe, put your name on the waiting list to find out when it's back in stock.
