Wait, Going Commando Is Actually Healthier for You?
In today's strangest news on the internet comes the recommendation that we should all be going commando, aka not wearing any knickers, as it's healthier for us. According to gynaecologist Donnica Moore, "It's not good to always have the lady parts locked up. They need air like all other parts of your body." Moore says that yeast infections can be more likely if you're wearing lace or non-breathable fabrics, as there's a buildup of sweat and heat in the crotch area. Sorry for all the deets.
While this is all actually sound advice, considering the potential problems. But what happens if you're wearing a pair of jeans,or another garment that has less-than-favourable fabric in regards to softness? It doesn't sound like it would be too comfortable. But Moore says that's totally fine, even if you're wearing a garment that could chafe, as wear no knickers is still actually healthier for you down there. No mention on how you would feel if you were wearing a skirt on a windy day, mind.
But if going commando doesn't sound like something you're up for, then try to ditch the lace first and opt for cotton knickers instead, as these are better for you and will give your "area" the chance to breathe. In the meantime, keep scrolling to shop our favourite cotton knickers.
Next up: TMI, but I've been buying my knickers from this store for over 20 years.
