Gucci's Next It Bag Is So Hollywood It Hurts

Fact: Gucci knows how to put on a spectacle. Need we remind you of the dragons and severed heads from the F/W 18 show? Now creative director Alessandro Michele has taken Gucci on the road for its cruise 2019 show in the south of France, and his signature theatrics came along for the ride.
In the city of Arles, models walked down a runway lined with real fire and smoke billowing for dramatic effect. As for the clothes, one motif, in particular, piqued our interest: the bags and jackets emblazoned with Chateau Marmont, the famous Los Angeles hotel that has hosted Hollywood icons of all stripes, from Marilyn Monroe to Elizabeth Taylor. Don't be surprised if you see this bag everywhere in six months when the cruise collection hits stores. Scroll down to get an inside look at the runway show in France.
