The Bodysuit and Jeans Formula Everyone's Trying Out for Size
Truth be told, the bodysuit has never been that appealing to me. I’ve always categorised it as an item that slim, early 20-somethings wear on their nights out. However, today I came across a snapshot of Lily Aldridge in a long-sleeve, lace-up one-piece worn with baggy jeans and bejeweled slides, which not only caused me to reevaluate my opinion of the piece but also reminded me of a similar ensemble worn by Emily Ratajkowski around the same time last year. Though both of these women are still undeniably tall and slender, someone like me who is 5’5” and a bit curvier can easily wear their outfit combinations.
Why I think it works: The long sleeves and relaxed jeans counteract the plunging neckline and defined waistline. Plus, the sculpted black jersey does wonders for skimming your entire torso.
