Why It's Crucial for This Jewelry Designer to Begin Her Mornings With a Mantra

Having a morning routine or ritual can do so much for your day in terms of your mental health, productivity, and energy. Think about it: If you wake up and immediately start rushing around, it can leave you frazzled and on edge for the rest of the day. But if you wake up and take some moments for yourself, it might leave you feeling a bit more centered and ready to take on whatever you have going on, whether it's a big meeting or project or a personal obligation. Jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche's own routine does just that. It's all about mindfulness and balance, and of course, it starts with meditation. Take a look at how she begins her day below.
6:30 a.m.
I love beginning my day with meditation. Having that moment of peace in the morning gives me this incredible sense of connection. Before I begin, I cleanse my space with Gypsy Dust and surround myself with all of my favorite essentials for staying grounded—crystals, candles, and my lambskin. When I meditate, I like to hold a mantra or positive intention in my mind, then carry it with me throughout the day. It reminds me of the power that lives in the present moment.
8 a.m.
Once I've finished my meditation, done my morning cardio, and showered, I take a moment to pick my stones for the day. Choosing jewels from my collection is always based on feeling. I've found that the crystals and minerals I am drawn to typically hold the healing properties my mind, body, and soul are in need of. I have always believed jewelry can bring out the inner goddess that lives inside every woman. It can make you feel calm, sensual, balanced, loved—whatever you need. Each layer I adorn myself with is so much more than meets the eye. Every necklace, ring, and finger bracelet is an amulet of personal healing.
8:30 a.m.
For my daily dose of caffeine, I have been loving Art of Tea. It is the ultimate morning treat that awakens my senses. The Happy tea blend tastes amazing, and it really does bring me bliss. It’s a loose-leaf tea of raspberries, rose, jasmine, and hibiscus—the perfect pairing of fruity and floral. It gives me all of the energy I need to balance designing, the business, and spending time with my family. It's an instant mood booster.
9 a.m.
For breakfast, I blend up my Clean Program smoothie made of almond milk, clean protein powder, beets, avocado, spinach, and maca powder. I top it off with Clean supplements (Cultivate, Shine, and Balance), and I'm ready for my day.
9:30 a.m.
As a California native, skincare has always been an essential part of my morning routine. Gypsy Glow hydrates my skin while keeping it radiant. This natural blend of essential oils is a goddess elixir all bottled up. The subtle scent of rose is feminine and sensual. And each bottle is infused with crystals, so it keeps me glowing inside and out.
10 a.m.
Now it's time to work. In these times of uncertainty, my morning ritual has granted me a sense of stability. Each day, I discover new sources of inspiration and happiness. Focusing on gratitude is a practice for all times of day. I strongly encourage giving yourself little moments to say thank you for everything that brings you peace and positivity—your tribe, your family, your home. We will get through this together.
