Jennifer Aniston Has Been Wearing This Dress for Years—It Looks Better Than Ever
Jennifer Aniston is one of those stars who has stayed fiercely loyal to her personal style. After all, she has been wearing the same basics for 24 years. Remember when our editor re-created Aniston's '90s looks? The fact that her outfits from two decades ago still feel current is a testament to her unwavering style approach.
At the premiere of her new film Murder Mystery, Jennifer stayed true to her signature style in a little black leather dress but updated with a new silhouette. She wore a Celine black leather sleeveless minidress with a belt at the waist and a high neckline with a sash-effect at the collar. Jen paired her mini with a pair of sky-high black stilettos with stud details along the straps. Jennifer tends to only wear black on the red carpet, however, leather is one of her favorite ways to make maximum impact with a little black dress.
Leather dresses are poised to become more and more popular in 2019, as this is one of the key trends for autumn and winter. Elizabeth von der Goltz, the Global Buying Director at Net-a-Porter, explained in her trends report: "Leather has become a key player in our wardrobes; it’s now much more accessibly priced and the breadth of styles means we can wear it all year long." There are also a number of designers working to make faux leather feel more elevated—buzzy brands like Nanushka and Kitri are creating beautiful, supple fabrics rebranded as vegan leather.
