K-Mids Just Wore the Trousers and Sneakers Outfit That Always Looks Good

There's no question that the Duchess of Cambridge has often been admired for her fashion choices, but recently she’s upped her game. While her formal event go-to look is still very much par for the course—floor-length gowns featuring some sort of sparkle, usually by Jenny Packham—her more casual outfits have taken a turn for the chicer. Recently, instead of her usual skinny jeans, blue blazer and wedge sandals outfit, she's opted for cropped trousers, a stylish top and sneakers or a block heel. This look is a refreshing change from the stiffer blazer and jeans ensemble and gives off a much more youthful vibe.
Yesterday, Kate attended the Royal Yacht Squadron for the inaugural Kings Cup race, which will become an annual event to promote the benefits of sport, while raising funds and support for Action on Addiction, Place2Be and the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. The Duchess wore a Sandro top with a pair of wide-leg cropped trousers from L.K.Bennett—if you're banking on getting your hands on these, sorry, they sold out some time ago. She finished off the look with a pair of her favourite Superga sneakers.
This isn't the first time she's worn this outfit in 2019. Back in May during the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Kate wore a pair of brown culottes from Massimo Dutti, a white blouse from M.i.h. and the Superga sneakers again. Earlier that month, she wore the L.K.Bennett trousers with a Breton top and blue suede block heels. Ready to see the three looks on the Duchess of Cambridge and then shop the pieces? Keep scrolling for more.
Style Notes: The Sandro top has a slight peplum which gives a small nip in the waist making it a super flattering casual top.
Style Notes: Paired with the blue trousers, there's still a classic nautical outfit here, perfect for a boat race, but it's been modernised.
