Kate Middleton doesn't change outfits in the middle of the day just for the fun of it—especially when the duchess is traveling. She often has to attend a variety of events in one day, all with very different settings. For her trip to Scotland today, for instance, she met with kids outdoors at a farm and then had an indoor event to discuss her mental health initiatives at a café. So naturally, she packed two different outfits for the day, but she stuck with the same pair of versatile black skinny jeans for both engagements.

In the morning, the Duchess of Cambridge dressed appropriately for her visit to a farm in a Barbour jacket, black skinny jeans, and her trusty Penelope Chilvers boots that she's owned for over a decade. For the next event, she made a quick change, swapping out the Barbour jacket for a Reiss gray blazer and nixing the knee-high boots in favor of Aquatalia ankle boots. Now that's how to make the most of everything you packed in your suitcase while traveling. Scroll down to see and shop Kate Middleton's newest outfits in Scotland.

Next, Anna Wintour reveals the two trends that are about to be everywhere

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
