Kate Spade Just Resurrected the Cult Bag Everyone Owned in the '90s
What was the It bag you wanted in the '90s? If it wasn't a Louis Vuitton Speedy, chances are it was probably Kate Spade's iconic Sam Bag. The square nylon bag—bedecked with a subtle designer logo, of course—was all the rage a couple decades ago, and now it's officially back.
"I think that bag started Kate Spade 25 years ago, but it's still relevant today," the brand's chief creative offer, Deborah Lloyd, told Glamour. "So many people that speak to you about that bag say, 'Oh my goodness, it was my first bag!' It became one of the first It bags." She told Glamour that fans "are always wanting to see the Sam back." Their wish is Kate Spade's command. Scroll down to shop the resurrected bag now.
