Does Kendall Jenner’s Latest Runway Outfit Mean Boho Is Actually Back?
Kendall Jenner just stepped out at Milan Men's Fashion Week A/W 18 on the runway for Dsquared2, in a look that was anything but minimal. Everything about the outfit had a very bohemian feel about it, making us wonder how long it will be before boho is fully back in style. Remember when Nicole Richie and Sienna Miller pioneered the look in the early 2000s? Surely it's set for a major resurgence very soon.
The layered patchwork maxi dress paired with the oversized fur coat definitely gives off rugged, natural vibes that are so far from what we’ve seen on runways over the past few years. A far cry from the structured and normcore styles of recent years, the look here is all-round rustic. Completing the earthy feel, Jenner’s outfit is paired with a tasselled amulet necklace and earrings and gladiator sandals that contribute to hippy-ish feel associated with bohemian looks.
With more exaggerated styles constantly popping up in runway shows, we’re starting to wonder if bohemian is on its way back. As Jenner’s outfit proves, the tides are turning, signalling the return of a “more is more” mentality that replaces the structure and minimalism of seasons past.
