Don't get us wrong—we love a strategically ripped T-shirt, but we've noticed recently that Kendall Jenner has taken to wearing very ripped T-shirts, and we wanted answers. We knew for a fact that the two ripped tees in particular that she's worn recently were not pre-ripped styles (i.e. ones that could be purchased that way). It was almost as if a WWE wrestler got ahold of her graphic-tee collection and went to town. Realizing that probably wasn't the cause, we were glad to finally get an answer today, via a PeopleStyle chat with Jenner's stylist, Monica Rose.
Rose answered all of our questions with her response: "The cutting of the shirts just recently started because whenever we're in fittings and we're in the moment, and I feel like something needs to be cut, I'll literally take out my scissors and start cutting." She went on to say that it also stems from wanting to show off Jenner's cool bralettes (a wardrobe staple of hers) and that Jenner is doing some of the cutting herself. There you have it, folks! Monica Rose has started yet another trend, it seems. (Kylie Jenner also recently showed off a bra-exposing cut graphic tee on Instagram.)
