Kim Kardashian West Will Receive the CFDA's First-Ever Influencer Award
Kim Kardashian West already has a lengthy resume, but she's about to add one more major accomplishment. As Vogue reports, she's set to receive the CFDA's first-ever Influencer Award. The annual CFDA Awards typically focus on designer achievements, with categories including Womenswear Designer of the Year, Accessory Designer of the Year, and the Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent. However, this will be the first year that an Influencer Award will be added to the lineup—so Kardashian West is certainly making history.
"Over the past decade, Kim Kardashian West has mastered the meaning of influence in the digital age," CFDA Chairwoman Diane von Furstenberg stated in a press release.
