We Want to Wear This French Jeans-and-Cardigan Combo All Weekend

The Chanel show is always a source of style inspiration, and when looking at the pictures of the guests arriving at the Grand Palais this week, we spotted one outfit we want to wear this weekend. Franco-Moroccan author Leïla Slimani, who has written the applauded Lullaby, wore a navy and cream Chanel cardigan with preppy silver buttons and a pair of blue high-waisted flared jeans with silver buttons along the pocket. She kept the outfit really simple, wearing her cardigan buttoned up with nothing underneath and adding a pair of Gucci silver loafers and going handbag-free.
