March Editor's Letter: We're on Springwatch—Come Join Us
After months of darkness, the end is in sight, and the joys of spring are arriving. New trends, new ideals, new names, new faces… new ways to shake off the old and ring in something exciting and catalytic. This month, we're all about celebrating the change makers of this little world we call fashion. That will translate in many ways, namely the opportunity to zero in on women leading the charge in a flawed industry going through a period of positive change. We'll be celebrating the high-profile doers and the loudest activists as much as the assistants and the quieter names, and they all will share one thing in common: the knowledge that the best formula for success is a combination of being nice and hard work. And just wait until you see whose awesome closet we've uncovered for our Best Wardrobes in Britain franchise. I almost still can't believe it and have been pinching myself every day since the shoot. Stay tuned for the big reveal later in March…
Until then we'll also be providing you with a live Springwatch feed on our Instagram account and here online. We are literally going to be looking at what's trending each day so you can stay abreast of all that's going up as well as the things losing favour. Talking of which, we can't wait for that magical morning where the puffa coat can be thrown off for good, in one glamorous swoosh.
Throughout the next four weeks we'll be tirelessly pinpointing game-changing pieces, brands, styling ideas and muses that our wardrobes have been calling out for. Most importantly, from March 12 you can enjoy a deep dive into the world of denim, thanks to our Good Jeans Week—where we aim to answer everything from which label really hugs your butt like it means it to the big denim questions like, really, how many pairs of jeans do you actually need?
Don't forget we'll have special columns coming in from our many fantastic contributors: Lisa Aiken, Rebecca Corbin-Murray, Avigail Collins, Lou and Em of A Style Album and Deborah Reyner Sebag. Plus, the first exclusive video piece from one of the most exciting new talents in town, filmmaker Fenn O'Meally.
Spring. It. On.
