Margot Robbie Wore This Iconic Chanel Makeup Product at the Barbie Premiere

Unless you haven't been online in the past 24 hours, there's no way you haven't seen pictures from last night's L.A. premiere of Barbie. All the stars walked the red carpet, including Margot Robbie (duh), who wore yet another fashion and beauty look that gave a nod to her titular character. Yes, all her press tour looks have been iconic, but this one might be the ultimate. Why? It didn't fall into the typical Barbiecore aesthetic; it was more glamorous and unexpected.
"For the Barbie World Premiere, Margot's makeup look was inspired by the original 'Solo in the Spotlight' Barbie doll," says Chanel makeup artist Pati Dubroff. "I stripped the makeup back instead of going full retro. The look is a more simplified, doll-like face. I focused on a red lip to tie in the flower on her dress, and the rest of the face is polished and natural, with soft eyes and glowing skin."
Robbie's makeup look was more than the sum of its parts, although its parts are worth mentioning. She had bright, highlighted cheekbones, soft and sophisticated eye makeup, and a high-impact red lip. It was pretty much the definition of 'glowing,' and we had to get all the details. We don't gatekeep, so we're sharing them with you. Keep scrolling to see every makeup product Robbie wore to the premiere, including an iconic Chanel makeup product.
Complexion Products
This is one of the best natural-looking foundations money can buy. Dubroff used the shade B30, mixing it with a skin tint to achieve Robbie's flawless yet lightweight-looking base.
Here's the iconic product we've been talking about. It's a classic loved by beauty editors, influencers, and makeup artists because it provides a natural-looking glow and definition. Read our full review to learn why we love it so much. Dubroff used the shade Soleil Tan Bronze, which is the lightest of the three shades available.
The final product Dubroff used to perfect Robbie's glowing complexion was this multi-use highlighter stick. She used two shades. The first was this champagne color called Sculpted. The second was a translucent one called Transparent.
"I applied Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick in Transparent across the tops of the high bones - the top of the brow bone and center of the lid," Dubroff says. "Then, I applied Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick in Sculpting to add more strategically placed, champagne-like highlights to the face."

Eye Products
When it came time for eye makeup, Dubroff reached for this eyeliner and eyeshadow crayon in two shades. The first was this rose gold color called Nude Éclat. The second was an espresso color called Electric Brown. To us, it looks like the former was used all over the lid, while the latter was just used along the lash line to define the eyes.

The star of the show, however, was this lipstick in shade 854, a bold, cherry-red color. The formula is highly pigmented. Seriously, all you need is one swipe for full coverage. It's also hydrating and long-wearing, which explains why Dubroff used it for a premiere event.
