Nominated for best actress at the Oscars in her latest film I, Tonya, Margot Robbie is doing big things. As exciting as this nomination is for the actress, what makes it even more special is it was also produced by her and her husband’s new production company. There's no question that we're looking forward to seeing the Australian actress at the awards show, but there is one question on our mind: What will she wear?
It’s no secret that Robbie is a true Australian fashion icon. And lately, she seems to be branching out to riskier looks. Her white, feathered dress from the SAG Awards and her blazer dress at the Calvin Klein show are the perfect examples.
While we’re still waiting to see what Robbie will wear on the Oscar’s red carpet (we hear it'll be Chanel), she did step out a few days ago at the 2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards in a Louis Vuitton Mini dress. Both leopard print and sequined, the frock was far from boring.
The actress kept the look refined, despite it’s bold style, by pairing the frock with a plain black purse and black Prada platform pumps. If this dress is any indication of Robbie’s style in recent days, we can only hope that she’ll bring this sartorial courage to her outfit at the 2018 Academy Awards as well.
