27 Chic Spring Buys From ASOS, John Lewis and Marks and Spencer
With a change in seasons comes the need to reevaluate what's hanging in our wardrobes. Of course, you can rifle through the pieces you already own and begin bringing items more suited to spring to the forefront, but there's always something amiss. I tend to do a biannual clear-out at the end of both summer and winter, during which I'll pass any clothes I no longer wear to friends or charity. And it wasn't until this week, when I found myself with a spare moment and decided to start making the wardrobe shift, that I realised I'm lacking in springtime staples. My wares seem to go from puffer coats straight to linen minidresses with very little in between.
Jessica Skye wears a shorts suit from ASOS.
So with the aim of making my closet more spring-friendly, I set about finding chic, cost-effective updates on the high street. During my search, I realised that everything I had screenshot came from one of three places: ASOS, Marks and Spencer and John Lewis and Partners.
With beautiful colour palettes and expertly cut silhouettes, what you'll find below are the very best spring pieces from each of the aforementioned brands. Keep scrolling to see them for yourself, and I'm sure you'll be keen to make room in your wardrobe for a piece or two.
ASOS
Tiered dresses are going to be just as popular this year as they were last.
ASOS has given us some of the strongest trenches this spring, and this double-layer style is no exception.
If you're growing tired of jeans, try a pair of paper-bag-waist trousers instead.
JOHN LEWIS PARTNERS
Oversize sunglasses will make you feel impossibly glamorous.
I've tried these trousers on and can confirm they're incredibly flattering.
The scallop edging on these flats looks so premium.
MARKS AND SPENCER
Try layering a roll-neck underneath this jumpsuit if you're feeling the chill.
Is there anything fancier than a leather trench coat? I think not.
I can tell just by looking at these sandals that they're going to be comfortable.
