Amal Clooney Wore Naked Shoes to Meghan Markle's Baby Shower

Meghan Markle's New York City girls' trip continues. Today, her famous friends arrived at The Mark Hotel bearing gifts in snowy weather to celebrate Markle's official baby shower. Of course, many of the attendees were also at the royal wedding back in May: Amal Clooney, Jessica Mulroney, Misha Nonoo, and Serena Williams are all on hand to fête the first-time mom.

For the occasion, Clooney wore a striking red Sergio Hudson jumpsuit with an oversize blazer, but we immediately zeroed in on her shoes. She wore the same Gianvito Rossi shoes she wore to the royal wedding. The shoes might look like classic pumps at first glance, but the clear PVC detailing makes them a particularly chic version of the naked shoe trend that's still going strong. Scroll down to see what all the celebrity guests wore to Meghan Markle's NYC baby shower.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
