Now There's Only One Way to Get the Sold-Out Bag Meghan Markle Made Famous

In case you were wondering how influential Meghan Markle's style is, let's review the numbers. Earlier this month, Markle made her first royal appearance since the engagement announcement carrying a bag by Edinburgh-based brand Strathberry. According to the label, the bag sold out in 11 minutes across all international retailers, resulting in a 5000% traffic increase on Strathberry's website. Impressive right?

Now, the brand is taking its newfound attention and doing something to give back. Strathberry is auctioning off the last currently available bag to benefit the same charity Markle and Prince Harry were promoting that day: the Terrence Higgins Trust, which advocates for equality and justice for people living with HIV and AIDS. The auction begins today at 3 p.m. EST and runs through Sunday, December 17, and you can make bids on the brand's website.

If you're willing to wait, however, Strathberry is doing another round of production for the bag soon—keep your eyes peeled.
