I’ll admit it. I’m somewhat of a lingerie snob, especially when it comes to panties and underwear bottoms. There’s nothing worse than overpriced, uncomfortable undergarments that don’t feel great and can actually ruin your outfit, which we don’t want. Oftentimes, people overlook the fact that undergarments are key to having a stylish wardrobe. I’ve seen way too many looks ruined by underwear lines or underwear peeking out, but not to worry—there are seven underwear brands that always get the job done. These seven are the backbone of my underwear collection, and coming from someone who is a self-proclaimed panty snob, you’re going to want to check these out.

For decades now, Victoria’s Secret has been one of the most iconic lingerie brands. I’ll never forget being in middle school and begging my mom to let me go into Victoria’s Secret and pick out a few pairs of panties and a body mist to take home and feeling like it was my first step into womanhood. Known for its sexy lingerie pieces and push-up bras that give you unreal cleavage, the brand has a large section of everyday underwear that I find myself wearing round the clock. Kim Kardashian’s underwear/loungewear brand has amassed a cult following like I’ve never seen, and I get it. Once I tried my first pair of Fits Everybody panties, I was hooked. These are seriously comfortable, the fabric is buttery smooth, and the high-cut waistline is the gift that keeps on giving. Whether you like boy shorts, thongs, or cheeky briefs, Skims has you covered. If you’re looking for underwear that comes in tones of skin tone like shades and doesn’t show any lines, look no further.
