I Just Spent Two Weeks in L.A.—Here's What I'm Inspired to Buy for Summer
Despite having been born in L.A. and spending the first 25 years of my life there (compared to only the last five in NYC), it didn't take me long to acclimate to style and dressing in a new city. And sure, New York participates in summer, too, but when it's no longer a year-round vibe, you tend to need a refresher every time the season rolls back around.
I recently spent two weeks back home experiencing temperatures I wasn't quite prepared for in May and spending a lot of time observing those around me, and after that, I think my summer shopping list is ready a little earlier than expected this year. Conveniently, this all coincides with Nordstrom's highly anticipated Half-Yearly Sale, so I figured I'd attempt to do all my shopping among the markdowns. I'm proud to say I was able to find it all, from dainty and fun jewelry to laid-back denim to sandals of both the fancy and simple variety to so many dresses.
