Off the Shoulder and Off the Hook: 15 Affordable Pieces That Ace This Mega-Trend

Even though we're technically only a baby step or two into spring (it's seriously pouring buckets as we type), retailers are reporting that the one thing they just cannot keep in stock is anything off the shoulder. Tops, dresses, jumpers and jumpsuits—you name it, they're flying off shelves and seductively falling off shoulders.

A feel-good buy, in that they instantly make you dream of summer, these so-called Bardot silhouettes (after Brigitte Bardot, bien sûr) are also the most universally flattering thing anyone could invest in. Unlike legs or stomachs, shoulders are actually an easy area to expose early (for the bigger of bust, we'd recommend investing in a strapless bra from Cosabella) and, if you're feeling creative, you can even layer them before the (fingers crossed) hot weather arrives.

Now that the stores are chock-full of them, we thought it best to bring you a top edit of the very best. From Zara to Self-Portrait, click through the gallery to shop our top high-street shoulder-baring buys.
