Years ago, I used to live in Paris, and it was my time there that really cemented that I wanted to work in fashion. Fashion really comes alive on the streets of the city in a way I hadn't experienced before, and despite the cliché, French women really are just so stylish. I noticed that their wardrobes are rooted in timeless staples while making room for plenty of cool trends as well.

Now, I try to make a point of traveling to Paris at least once a year, and I've learned some lessons about what to pack. The real trick is studying which staples French women actually wear and adding those items to my suitcase. Some of the core buys are sitting in Wholesale Replica Bag drop fromBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing Collection, so I rounded up 11 of my top Paris travel staples I think are worth the investment. Ahead, shop them all.

1. Leather Trousers

3. Quilted Jackets

One of the tricks I always noticed in Paris? French women tend to stick with simple outfit building blocks like jeans and a turtleneck, then add a great piece of outerwear on top. Right now, quilted jackets are the key style to own.

4. Bustier Tops

Simply add a bustier top to a pair of jeans and slingback heels for a look that will feel right on the money for a dinner in the Marais.

5. Long-Sleeve Sweaters

The temperatures in Paris can sometimes be unpredictable, so stealthy layering items are a must. You can't go wrong by investing in a great long-sleeve sweater to throw on top of a button-down or tie over your shoulders.

6. Skirt Sets
