Prada's High-Tech Skincare Line Just Dropped atReplica Store—What to Buy First

We've been waiting on pins and needles for the formal U.S. launch of Prada Beauty since August. Sure, we had the brand's initial launch of lipsticks and eye shadows to keep us temporarily satiated, but we could hardly wait to see what else would come from the sought-after luxury brand. Would it be more modern makeup formulas? Would it be—gasp—a designer skincare line that could stand up to the likes of Chanel's or Dior's?

Well, six months have passed, and we're happy to report that Prada Beauty did, in fact, drop a skincare line (and it's currently exclusive to Nordstrom and the Prada Beauty website). True to what we'd expect, the products are high-tech, thoughtfully formulated, and incredibly chic. In other words, they have Prada written all over them.

The line was formulated with one thing in mind: helping the skin adapt to its environment in real time. As such, each product in the line contains the brand's Adapto.gn Smart Technology, which is a proprietary complex of ingredients engineered to do just that. Keep scrolling to see the five luxe products worth buying, and learn how they can benefit the skin.

First up is the brand's cleanser. Yes, $95 is a steep price to pay for the first step in a skincare routine, but this is Prada we're talking about. The cream-to-foam formula cleanses the skin and removes makeup all in one go. Thanks to the aforementioned Adapto.gn Smart Technology—as well as amino acids and glycerin—it promises to strengthen the structure of the skin, minimize texture, and boost overall radiance.

Next is this cream that can be used both day and night to moisturize, strengthen, and protect the skin. It starts as a gel and transforms into a balm upon application. Proxylane boosts moisture levels, hyaluronic acid plumps fine lines and wrinkles, vitamin CG provides antioxidant protection, and ceramides strengthen the skin barrier. Oh, and it's refillable, so you can keep the jar and order replacement pods to save on packaging waste.

One part toner, one part "micro-peel," this liquid formula boosts hydration and supercharges cellular turnover with three skin-safe exfoliating acids, including an AHA, a BHA, and a PHA. Use it daily to brighten the skin, minimize fine lines, and tighten he look of pores.

Now for the brand's first serum. This two-in-one face-and-eye serum contains hyaluronic acid to enhance volume, squalane to boost moisture and provide antioxidants, and peptides to improve firmness (along with the proprietary Adapto.gn Smart Technology of course). The result is a serum that "recalibrates, revitalizes and refines" the skin over time. It's refillable just like the brand's moisturizer.

Okay, technically this isn't a skincare product, but when a foundation contains skin-benefiting ingredients, we count it as one. It's infused with niacinamide and vitamin E, so it smoothes, hydrates, and improves skin tone while disguising imperfections.

It boasts a soft-matte finish (in line with the "cloud skin" trend), 33 flexible shades, and buildable coverage. The brand used AI technology and an algorithm of 3000 different skin tones to create the most accurately color-matched shade range.
